Sheri's Story
Life
This is the first year that I am not working as a teacher. I quit my job to be at home for my kids.In addition,I started my own Art business! Previously I was a High School Art teacher for thirteen years. It really was rewarding to help some awesome students; however, I wanted to do something different. One of my goals is to continue to paint and become a Christian artist, which is why I started my own art business.
I met my husband in college and we were married in 1991. We have two wonderful children, my son is 14, and my daughter is 9.
School

wo years before, I had to start my Freshman year at Newnan H.S.,in Georgia. In retrospect, moving helped me to build character and take on more challenges. I feel this has helped me to this day. Part of me wishes I had the opportunity to go to school with the same people from kindergarten through High School, yet this was not my purpose; and I feel I have learned so much from each move my family made.
College
My desire was to go to an Art Institue in New York; however, that was too expensive, so I went to Stephen F. Austin State University. I remember being younger than most college Freshman at age 17. I learned a lot in college, and think those were great times.
