Sheri's Story
Life
Hi everyone!
I have been married now for 26 years and have 4 children. My 3 boys are ages 25, 22, 21 and my daughter is 13. I work at home for a reservation company and have 3 girl scout troops. Needless to say, that keeps me very busy.
I also run my own health and wellness business and do one on one health coaching, in person and via internet. I do various crafts that I sell on e-bay and at local shops. We have lived all over the country in the last 20 years but now have settled in Colorado.
I love to ski, hike and walk up on the Mesa. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 tanks of fish. Most of this is my daughters doing.
My husband is a singer/songwriter and has several CD's out. He is also about to release a new book so check it out on line.
College
I am just starting my college adventure this fall so wish me luck!!!!
Workplace
I started my work experience cleaning tables at the convention center back in 1976 when my mom worked there. Then I went to work for A&W on Rancho Road. While working there, I was offered a job at the Rebel gas station that was right next to the A&W. I started working for Rebel in 1977, my managers name was Tim Heston and we are still good friends to this day. I transferred to the old WonderWorld Rebel soon after and stayed...Expand for more
there until I got married in November of 1980. I returned to work for Rebel after a year with Nevada National Bank, and stayed with them until their location on Nellis and Bonanza was sold in 1984 to Stop and Go. I worked for Stop and Go until my 3rd son was born in May 1986. It was then that I decided to change professions, I got a job with Great Western Printing out on Tropicana by Decatur. I was with them until 1989 when we moved to Vancouver, Washington. I told my knowledge of printing and typesetting and free lanced there until we moved in 1990. We moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia. There I went to work for 7-11. I managed stores, trained store managers, opened new locations and basically held every field position you can over the next 10 years. In the summer of 2000, we moved to Ludlow, Vermont.
There I ran the Mobile Station/Dunkin Donuts I think I loved it there best because you could walk down Main Street right up to the ski mountain and take the rest of the day off to ski. We moved in 2002 to Grand Junction, Colorado where we now live. I work for Mervyn's and run the childrens department. I also run my own health and wellness company. I do personal health coaching in person or via the internet. I also do various crafts and sell the at local venues.
