Sheri's Story

Life I've lived in Utah all my life (Provo for three years, Salt Lake County the rest of the time). I've been a professional genealogist since 1985 (Lineages, Inc.), but have been doing research for forty years. I've also self-published several family history books. . .still working on several others. My professional research right now ...Expand for more
mostly involves proving Native American ancestry for clients who want to join a tribe to share in the profits of the tribal casinos. I also taught pre-school (Child Development degree from U of U, 1972; Graduate school BYU, 1973); and was a teachers' aide in the Salt Lake District's gifted program, regular program and resource classes.

Christmas Day, 2017 -- Emigration Canyon, Salt Lake "Rafter" or flock of wild turkeys with nowhere to go. We saw this same flock in the same place on Thanksgiving Day 2016. They are our official Holiday Birds. 🦃🦃🦃
