Life
To all members of the Wild and Crazy Class of 80--greetings! Doesn't that old line bring back memories? Thought I would update anyone who catches this and hasn't spoken to me in a few years... Let's see--went to Trinity a couple of years, lived in Chicago for a year or so after that and then came home to California, where I met my husband Doug while working for the same group home organization. We were married in February 1988 and are now busy raising two girls--Jordan, 13 and Sierra, 11--as well as my "nephew", Vincent, now 16. I drive transit bus here in Modesto, and my husband Doug is currently in training to also drive bus, so we will be a transit family! I have a menagerie of animals, of course! ts, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises, a bird and one horse... We bought a home here in Modesto 5 years ago with a pool, which is a great babysitter in the summer! I decided to return to the church I grew up in and so we attend the 1st CRC in Ripon, where the girls really enjoy their youth groups. Jordan and Sierra attend Ripon Christian Schools, thanks to the CEF at our church, and they are doing very well. Vincent recently got his driver's license (!!) so we bought an old Chevy truck for him to drive to and from work. He is a sophomore at Downey High and hopes to be an electrician when he graduates. We are considering moving to Idaho to escape the expenses of living in California, but for now we are rooted here. Take care! Sheri
