Sherilyn's Story
Married for 30 years to Bob Verrilli (who also graduated from JFK in 1973) with two children. For fifteen years, I'd worked for Eastern Airlines at Newark Airport and in the travel industry, while teaching dance on the side. In 1994 I founded LITTLE LOST ARTS, a family theater in residence at the historic Ratsch Theater. I am currently a director/producer and playwright (represented by three publishing houses). In November 2010, one of my short plays was selected by Stella Adler Theatre's...Expand for more
resident company in Hollywood, for inclusion into their WOMEN IN THE ARTS festival, and in July 2011, another of my plays was among four finalists in the U.S. selected for the ESTROGENIUS IN PROGRESS festival at Manhattan Theatre Source (one of the top 5 Off-Off Broadway theatres). In November 2011, a staged reading of my comedy, CHILL OUT! was presented in TImes Square. Like everyone else, life since high school has had its share of ups and downs, but, all-in-all, I certainly feel blessed.
