S. Jeff's Story
Life
Life didn't really start for me until I finished High School and left home.
By 1985: I had worked in a paper factory, been a missionary in Ecuador, attended UNO, transferred to BYU, and had just gotten married.
By 1990: I had graduated from BYU, moved back to Nebraska to attend UNL, been commissioned an Army Reserve officer, finished my MBA and Denise and I had just had child #2. My mother passed.
By 1995: We had returned to Utah and I had worked for WordPerfect Corp and then for UVSC on staff. I had started teaching part-time, then full-time...Expand for more
. Nearly got called to the Gulf War. Went to Kiev to repair a network. Child #3 and #4.
By 2000: Earned 2 more college degrees at UVSC. Child #5. Received tenure. Fixed up and traded up homes several times. Left the Army Reserve after 13 years as a CPT.
By 2005: Started PhD program. Child #1 left nest. Master Gardener. I ride a yellow scooter. One very cool nerd. Everyone calls me "Jeff."
By 2008: Now ABD and working on dissertation. Own several properties. UVSC is now called UVU and it's a university. Child #1 got married last summer.
