Life Its been how long since we graduated? 35 YEARS!!! NO WAY!!! I am only 39. :) A lot has happened in the last several decades. I have been married 3 times. Twice to the same man. (We refer to this time apart as a "time out." :) I have 3 wonderful and loving children. Two handsome sons and a beautiful daughter. I had almost abandoned hope that my kids would someday have children, and pass on "the curse"! The curse of "paying for their raising"!!! My kids were always up to something mischevous. If it shouldn't be done, one of them probably did it. We all survived despite the journey, and they turned in to loving and caring adults. :) I became a grandmother in 2005 for the first time. I now have 5 very special and gorgeous grandbabies. Silvia, Jax, Janie, Doc and Edon. They are the new legacy of my proud family. I left Artesia in 1982, and began a new chapter in my life. I have lived all over Houston, Pearland, Midland and Lubbock. We have recently moved to Haslet, Texas. (No one has ever heard of this small town, population 1500, counting us.) Its around the Fort Worth area. We live in a new subdivision of Haslet-ville. It is so rural here. There are 3 rail road crossings we go over before we even hit a main road. Trains coming and going, constantly. We have to allow alotted time for these trains when we head out for where ever. Most of the area around us are empty fields, with the exception of a few oil rigs setting in the mids of them and wild animals that venture out and come over to say "Howdee!" Only Texas offers skyscrapers and wild kingdom. My husband John, works for Southwest Airlines. It has given us lots of opportun...Expand for more
