Life
It was really fun reading all the names of people I went to school with, and remembering that chapter of my life! I didn't graduate at FM. I ran away from home during my jr. year, and just sort of faded out of the picture.
At 19 I married in texas, and spent the next 10 years traveling the US with my husband's job, and homeschooling my three children.
I was a practicing midwife and herbalist and was invited to move to Bolivia South America to re-open a childbirth clinic there. We ran an small dairy (milking by hand) and lived with out electricity and ridding horse and buggies for 5 years. Along with delivering babies, I taught english in a rual school.
When We came back, I was more then ready to embrace the american way of life! Unfortunatly my marriage of 16 yers dissolved, but I look back on it with no regrets. We remain open and close for the sake of...Expand for more
our goal to co-parent our children. Life moves on *smile*
On returning to the states I was a little burnt out towards childbirth, so I taught mentally handicapped adults in living and class room situation (that was actually something I wanted to do when "I grew up."
I have dabbled around with writing and have published articles through the years on what ever was going on in my life at the time (homeschooling, midwifery, womens health, herbs and essential oils, life in a third world country, dvorce...every thing is worth writing about!)
One of my daughters married, and has a young daughter, the other lives with me to make sure I never get bored. My 10 year old son moved in with his father (I assure you that was very hard! but it was the right time.)
I recently moved to NYC. I care for an 89 year old man in his home, and teach aromatherapy classes.
