Sherrie's Story
I am back in the state of Washington, after being in Alaska for the past 24 years. It is a BEAUTIFUL state but the snow gets real old when your not up to shoveling 4 foot of it daily, so we moved back here. My husband retired up there so we came back down here to be closer to the kids (which I have 3, two girls & 1 boy) but it is really harder than I thought to get used to living back in the lower 48 as we called it up in AK. Our kids, 1 boy lives in Arizona & workes for Palo Verdie Power, & 1 girl lives in Missouri & workes for Armstrong tires co. & the other girls lives in South Dakota & is a mother & house wife so they are all over the place down here. the last owners, cause I need my green grass after being up north for so long, I have poodles which also keeps me pretty busy trying to keep up with 4 of them. I LOVE the beach & working outside when it's nice. We are building a tool shed for the husband right now since the snow took our old one down so been busy doing that. Guess my country life (out in Orient & Gresham) has never left me, haha. We are not for sure if this is our final place or if we will go back to Alaska, the husband isn't really setteling in real well here so we will see?? My husband is a hunter & fisherman so he is not dealing with city living & city living is really hard getting used to after being away for so long with no rules up north, but that is changing there to.
