Sherrie's Story
I was average I suppose ! My nickname at the time was Private Benjamin due to the fact I enlisted in the US Army while still in eleventh grade. I did not travel the world and was blessed too not face battle during my three years service. I went to Anniston Alabama for basic training, then to San Antonio Texas for advance training as a medic. Then right back to good old Bama.....Huntsville to be specific Redstone Arsenal to finish my tour. I knew from the start that the army was temporary !! t time......hated it !! More recently I lived in Michie TN a tiny spot ( that I think is on the map) just northeast of Corinth MS.......I enjoyed the quiet country life , But am glad to be back home . I have two beautiful daughters, four granddaughters and one grandson all of which Make my world !!! I managed a pawnshop for twenty years and still do in home healthcare as well. I think about high school often and try to keep up with folks but need to make a point to visit more because y'all are getting old........lol.......... Still love music and Bama football of course !!
