Sherrie's Story

Life I belong to Wild West Corvette Club I really enjoy doing things with the club. Does any one out there belong to a Corvette Club? I love to take short trips to Laughlin or Mesquite Nevada. Love to play cards with friends and I have a billard table we use all the time.Have made a lot of great friends with the Assistance League a nonprofit org. for children which I joined years ago.Belong to a ladies investment club in the area. I found more to do since I am no longer working . Kacey was Miss Apple Valley kept me pretty busy. I am sure you can all relate to that.Just became a Grandmother for the first time our Daughter Kacey had a baby girl Olive which is now 7 years .I have waited a long time for this Kacey is 32 and lives in Encinitas and works at the Hayatt Hotel in Carlsbad Ca.Life has changed a lot in the last few years I was a caregiver for my husband Max he had Alheimers .It really makes you understand what a caregiver does...Expand for more
and how hard it is. You just take it a day at time. I am so glad I have God in my life.Things have changed again for me my husband of 23 years died on July 2 2013. July 4th the corvette club made a toast to him at our BBQ get togather.He will be truly missed.On the 28th 13 corvettes brought his ashes home to my house.Its is good to have good friends. I am learning to start over again since I lost my husband. I am thankful for the good friends I have they keep me going. Doing new things in my life try to go once a month to homeless shelter and fix a meal with a group of Rotary people. Learning to get to understand myself again since I am alone. Just started to date after several years of being married . Going on some trips went to Texas for a week with a girlfriend had a great time people in Texas are very friendly. Hope to be doing more new things in the up coming months ahead.. Joined a BUNCO group of 16 ladies having lots of fun.
