Sherrie's Story
Sherrie's schools include Santa Ana Valley High School, Santa Ana Jr. College, Cal-State Fullerton, USC, Cal-State Los Angeles, and Arizona School of Health Sciences.
I have been an Audiologist for 43 years now and retired 3 years ago from Los Angeles County Office of Education. I have worked as an Audiologist in hospitals, for physicians, rehabilitation centers, school districts and a local junior college as a part-time lecturer. I am currently a small business owner in Pomona, CA, specializing in helping people with tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and diagnosing central auditory processing disorders. I also worked on the East Coast in the 1970s at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.
I've been married for 46 years and have 4 grown children, all married and living in southern California. We also have 7 grandkids and one on the way!

ed to every state in the U.S. except for Mississippi and Alabama. One of my life goals is to set foot on every continent so still need to travel to the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, South America and Antarctica) to accomplish that.
Some of my most memorable memories include the fun years at Santa Ana Valley HS, working as a extra on location at Disneyland for a TV special in the 1960s, traveling in a van across the US in the 1960s & again in 1971, white water rafting, snow skiing, hot air ballooning, and cruising to Hawaii, Alaska, New England/Nova Scotia, Europe, Mexico and the Bahamas. I also enjoy an annual all-girls' trip with my 4 sisters-in-law. So far we have met in Pine Grove, CA, Las Vegas, Seattle and this last time to a beach house in Ocean Park, WA. I LOVE to travel and am glad to be semi-retired so I can go whenever I want to!
