Life
My Job
My job was teaching a typical fifth grade class. I taught for 41 years. The first two were in Onalaska and the remaining have been in Chehalis. I had classrooms in R.E. Bennett and Olympic schools. I retired in June of 2006.
Since retirement I have kept busy at home with my sister's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. For years my grand niece and her three children have lived with me. Having three boys ages 17,5, and 4 keeps the world jumping.

e to try out being a senior citizen. I got up in the wee hours of the morning and tripped over the dog. The result was a broken hip, surgery, and almost four months of physical therapy in a skilled nursing facility ( nursing home). Take my word for it and stay independent.
My body has not formed bone around the hardware I now have. So I am still stuck with a walker. I have had pain all along so now I'm being sent to a neurosurgery. Hopefully,there is a way I can get rid of the walker and do more on my own.
