Sherry's Story
Been living in Maine since 1983, married for 25 years and have two sons, ages 23 and 21. My oldest graduated from the University of New England with a BS in Athletic Training and is in grad school at the Portland campus of UNE, in the field of occupational therapy. My younger son finished his sophomore year at the University of Maine and currently is working full-time for a landscaping company. energy to the household! My husband is a home builder and I am an occupational therapist in a public school system.
I have been keeping a positive and upbeat attitude while I battled Stage 1c Ovarian Cancer. I recovered well from surgery and finished 18 weeks of chemotherapy at the end of June 2012. I now have a clean bill of health from my oncologist and am considered in remission! I recently bought a horse, which has been a lifelong dream of mine! Life is good!
