Sherry's Story
Life
I am the single mother of one daughter Genevieve, who was born in January 1980. She has my eyes and smile. I've lived in Pomona, about 30 miles from LA, since I bought my own house in 2000.

iberal Arts, and later, a teaching credential. I also earned a Spanish Bilingual Certificate of Competency.
I've been teaching for 24 years, mostly for the LA Unified School District.
I presently teach third grade in downtown LA. I get a little thrill every time one of my students gets 'that light in her eyes' and says, 'NOW I understand, Teacher!"
