After 4 years of long hours and hard work the start up company I worked for went public and recorded the 3rd largest IPO in the history of NASDAQ. gement sold the company to Sun Microsystems in December of 2000, where I'm now still employed.
Being in a large company again has its disadvantages as well as its advantages. I miss the start up environment where everyone is empowered to make and execute on decisions. When the economy is better I hope to be at a start up again.
