11/1/2022 Hurricane Ian:
Spent the entire hurricane on Sanibel - my brother had just had open heart surgery and a friend gave us her key as her home was on stilts and farther from the beach than our beach house. I waded back over as soon as the sun was out to find mud all over everything and all the furniture scattered from the surge. But we will get it all put back together except for the two pickups. The Lord is good.
2022 update:
Just changed my current pic - July 2022 at 45,000 feet with my son Shane the pilot. My precious husband went to be with his Lord in 2020. We loved him so much but saw the Lord's hand in the tim...Expand for more
ing. Art so looked forward to going to the 75th anniversary of Mac Arthur signing the WWll surrender document on the USS Missouri as Art was present at the time. He would have been so disappointed because of the Covid restrictions, but the Lord spared him that. The Missouri had a wonderful rememberence presentation about Art and a flyover over Pearl Harbor.
Still following my granddaughters through their dancing. And my Grandson in Florida. Both sons still pilots and Mom is doing well at 92. Little brothers doing well - Boone on Sanibel and Jeff with the boat racing. I'm just fine at 75 piddling around the house.
