Life
I did not attend Mar Vista High School, however, I did attend Mar Vista Jr. High. My family moved just prior to graduation to the Orange County area of CA. I would have been in the graduating class of 1974 at Mar Vista.
I attended Los Alamitos High School, and graduated in 1974. I then went to Jr. College for a year (majoring in Art Advertising). Then I decided to go to a Dental Assistant school. I was a Dental Assistant for 5 years. After that I began processing Medical and Dental Insurance Claims, which lasted for about 3 years. ded to go to school to become a manicurist. From there, I continued my career and owned my own business for 10 yrs. In 1986, I met my husband. We were married in 1991. Our son was born in 1994. In August of 1997, we decided to leave CA and move to Colorado. We have a home in the Black Forest area, located 20 miles NE of Colorado Springs. We have 2 horses, 2 dogs, a cat, and a mother-in-law (my mom)!! We live at 7300' elevation - so when you here about blizzards in Colorado, think of me. We had just moved here in Aug. of 1997 when the blizzard of Oct. 1997 hit. We were snowed in for 3 days, I-25 was closed from the New Mexico border to the Wyoming border. It was an event for people from CA to live through!
