Hi!
Just a quick update on "all about me"... After flying for the airlines (TWA & Eastern) for a total of 20 years, I'm now 'grounded' and working as a traveling nurse. I went to college after Eastern closed down operations and became an RN.
I have 2 wonderful daughters that graduated from U of South Fla in Tampa. Being married hasn't worked out for me and I am single, however, I don't hate men!! I've been in and out of the state of FL over the years. I enjoyed my assignment in Hawaii, esp. snorkleing with the turtles, touring the island on the back of a friends Harley, eating fresh pineapple, watching movies on the beach after sunset, and taking golf lessons. xperience was working on assignment at Duke Uiversity Medical Center in Durham, NC. I went for 13 wks and ended up renewing my contract for 2+ yrs. Yes, Im still in touch with Nancy M., I still love going to FLL to vist Claudia, and N.C. to see Cathy A. Hope life is treating you all well, that you're happy, and enjoying it to its fullest as I am. I'd love to hear from any of my classmates. Be Safe.
I always wanted to be a beach bunny when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dream idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have lots of rest, comfortable shoes, my stethescope, and my head on straight to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My daughters are now my heros to have succeeded so well in their lives after so many obstacles.
