Sherry's Story
Life
Worked for Tony the Tiger as a Design Engineer for 18 years, got downsized in December of 98. I worked for my own company as a technology consultant until 2001. Graduated from the Pacific School of Religion in May of 2009 and was ordained a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)in July. My wife is an ordained Unity minister. ove back to the Midwest. Today we live in Glenwood IA and have a ministry of helping people with hearing loss to be able to hear with technology, specifically hearing loops. Mary likes to joke that we have helped more people hear than Jesus. We've also looped theaters, libraries and civic buildings. Hearing loops (audio frequency induction loop systems) is an amazing technology, it is like WIFI for people with hearing aids or cochlear implants. The most common thing I hear from a person who has experienced a hearing loop for the first time is "It's a miracle!"
