After high school, I went to WT and AC - yes, I was very close to my Mom and Dad and wasn't ready to leave Amarillo. I was also a member of a singing group at church; we made an album in Nashville. I went to the lake with a friend from church in the summer of 1981 and met my husband that day. I actually got up on one ski my first try, but fell when we went into a cove and when the boat turned, I kept going straight. My ear drum burst and I lost a pearl earring that my dear friend Kathy gave me, so Mike bought me a new pair. We married 6 months later. 9 1/2 months later, our awesome son Justin was born. Precious Lindsay was born 21 months later. We felt blessed to have a healthy son and daughter, so Mike had a vasectomy. Well, 7 years later, we decided we wanted another child, so Mike had his vasectomy reversed and Jordan was born approx a year and 1/2 later in 1991.
