All the best, Sherry
Life
February 17, 2005
Well here is my life for the past oh my gosh 25 years very short & sweet....
When I graduated high school I got married and had two children Sean (who is almost 20) and Jessica (sweet 16). I stayed married to him for 12 years but it was not a very good marriage. We moved around quite a bit spending time from Cincinnati & Toldeo Ohio to Jacksonville, FL. Eventually we moved to the Bay Area in California (San Mateo) close to where my mother still resides. So when I was going through the beginning of a divorce process he committed suicide. Had a lot of problems with Sean for quite a while as you can imagine.
Thought to myself I'd never get married and want...Expand for more
to have other kids again and then I met my second. Swept me off my feet and had another daughter - Robyn (just turned 8). Although things went well in the beginning divorce to him was final last year in September.
They say the trials of your life make you stronger. I can say that it has. I have found me again without even realising that I had been missing for a very long time. Currently I live in Baker, Nevada which is way out there in the middle of nowhere. RURAL, RURAL, RURAL!!! I work for Great Basin National Park as the Purchasing Agent although the remainder of my career as been doing Administrative Assistant/Secretarial work.
So as I sit here typing this profile, I am currently looking to begin my life all over again and am looking for work somewhere or anywhere so long as I can get back to the city. Sometimes you just can't take the city out of the girl no matter how long she's been in the country. It still amazes me that I can remember the majority of the faces and friends from Holy Name School and I hope I can reconnect with some of my long lost friends. Wishing everyone the very best. Email me and let me know how you are doing!
