Sherwyn's Story
Life
After graduation I moved around a bit between Newark and Camden. Attended NJIT for a year but did not finish. Work as a manager for the Merry GO Round Corp until they went out of business. Joined the Army shortly after and moved to Georgia. Met my wife Tricia in 1997 and we were married on 20th May 2000. In 2001 we moved to Germany. My son Kyle was born in Germany June 21 2002. I Left Germany in 2005 and moved to FT Benning, Georgia for 1 year and was reassinged to recruiting duty in Waterbury, CT in 2006. I am scheduled to leav...Expand for more
e recruiting in 2009 in hopes of moving back to Georgia. I have about 9 more years until I retire from the Army and I want to make Georgia home.
Military
Enlisted May 15th 1997. First assignment Kelly Hill, Ft. Benning GA from 1997- 2001. Deployed to Kuwait with 3ID. Re-assinged to Schweinfurt Germany 2001- 2005. During that time I deployed to Kosovo and Iraq. Re-assigned to Ft Benning, GA 2005- 2006. Currently on recruiting duty in Waterbury, CT. My current rank in Sergeant First Class/E-7 and my career field is Airborne Infantry.
