Sheryl's Story

After graduating in '74 I worked at Union Hospital and then Truesdale until '77 in the dietician's dept. I then met my first husband Michael from New Bedford and moved there until our divorce in '90. No children until I met my current husband in '92. My son Nathan was born in '93 and we moved to California in '96. Shortly there after my husband Darrell a Lt with the Coast Guard was transferred to Puerto Rico where we lived for 3 yrs. I had my second child, Lily my daughter in '98 when the hurricane hit Puerto Rico. We then moved and retired in Norfolk, VA where I taught as a teachers assistant from 2001 until our lastest move in 2007. We now live in Evans, Georgia where my children are in high school and ...Expand for more
elementary school and my husband works for the Army at Fort Gordon as a management analyst. We plan on being here only a few years until my son graduates. I miss New England and always loved my visits to Martha's Vineyard where someday my ashes will be. I currently don't work and can stay home and take care of my family and home, enjoying every day. I treasure my days back in Fall River and miss the good seafood, chourice and linguica pizzas. My parents still live in Tiverton RI right on the line of Fall River and we travel back to see them when we can. I have several family members in Florida so we are kind of mid-way between them all. Hope to hear from former classmates and friends from the area soon.
