Sheryl's Story

Hi, I finally joined Classmates Online. I have been living on the Gulf coast of Florida for over 23 years and love it. I have a real estate license, but for now I am working on a degree in sustainability management. It is extremely interesting; especially at the moment with the oil spill. My oldest son just graduated from University of Florida and is headed to Cornell University to begin working on his PhD in Bio medical engineering. My younger son will be a senior in high school this year. We had a set back in April, Josh, my youngest had a brain hemorrhage and we traveled all over the country in search of help. We found a wonderful doctor at the Univ of Chicago and he will be Josh's primary physician. Josh has a rare congenital defect, called a cavernoma, however, with Dr. Awad's guidance he will be able to carry on, with sports and academia, just as before. My sons are the best part of my life. Hope all is well with everyone else! I always wanted to be a Mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a rreasonable idea. As it turns out, they were correct. Treadmill If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have sunlight, positve co workers, and time for exercise to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My son Josh. aluarate high school with an impressive average. Josh has shown me perseverance and positive attitude can overcome any obstacles! The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Danny Lubin, because he was the best friend I ever had. My sons have taught me more than I ever learned in a classroom. They taught me how to love unconditionally! If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to brain and cancer reseach, then spend the rest on pharmacutical research, charity and my sons. NO My current age is 51. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be declining . I was so completely wrong, this is the best time!. I want a degree in sustainability to go along with my real estate. The world and opportunities are changing so quickly I just want to keep up! My best friend would tell you I'm generous, kind and fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as outgoing. No, I like to be in style, however, age appropriate. I share my home with Josh, my youngest son, which I find wonderful. Best chocolate chip oatmeal cookies at our Temple picnic! In 10 years, I hope to be healthy and happy. I'm going to get there by exercising and having fun. My first job was at a dress shop near my house, where I got paid not much to clean up and organize the dressing rooms. What I remember most about it is the older women there, gossiping behind the customers backs!.
