I miss the good old days. When we were carefree and foolish. I remember the fire drills. I miss my friends from school. I can't remember my elementary teachers, I guess I'm getting old. I would like to keep in touch with my old friends if they remember me and still consider me a friend.
I always wanted to be a legal secretary or court reporter when I grew up. My friends thought that was a good idea idea. As it turns out, it didn't happen that way. I am not a court reporter but I am a Legal Assistant to an attorney here in PA. He left a big law firm in December 2005 and started his own business and bought a building on 12/25/2005. I just happened to walk in off the street on Friday 01/06 with my resume and was called...Expand for more
the following Monday to start. I helped put everything into the computer from ground up. I had to learn everything myself for I am the only girl in the office and have been here going on 4 years in 01/09/10. I am able to write checks from his office check book; am in charge of the Pitney Bowes postage meter ie downloading and adding postage; helping clients with their compensation checks ie if they do not receive their checks I have to find out why and when their checks will be mailed; help with in office audit; help with his own personal accounts ie bank statements; credit card statements; bills for office incoming and outgoing ie send to accountant. I have a lot of responsibility. I love my job would not change it at all.
