Shing's Story

After AHS, I got my B.S. degree from UC Irvine in Biological Sciences (ZOT!). From UCI, I worked for a couple of years at Caltech, studying hormonal signaling. After Caltech, I moved to the east coast, where I got my M. Phil and Ph.D. at Yale School of Medicine (BOOLA BOOLA!) in Genetics. I got tired ...Expand for more
of the NE states and moved back to So. Cal. for about ten years where I directed several research programs for a biofuels company. More recently, I have moved back to the east coast, DC to be exact. I am a program manager for the Dept. of Energy where I direct federal funding opportunites in bioenegy.
