Ellen's Story
Life
Hi everyone---
Canarsie High School was a great experience for me and so I still
have fond memories of my friendships and of some of my teachers
(particularly Joe Zogby). Drama and music were always my passions and I
continued in both of those fields professionally.
My professional name is Ellen Shipley. I worked in theater for a while
as an actress, singer, director--whatever work I could get! In the 1980'2 I became a Recording Artist and made three albums, I toured all over, did T.V., radio and
had an unbelie...Expand for more
vable journey! I also married Ralph Schuckett and had a daughter
in 1985, Casey. I also have a son, Hank, born in 1992.
However, my real success came in the late 1980's until the present when I became a professional wongwriter and was blessed with many hit songs.
I have a truly wonderful life. I am grateful for all I have been given.
I live in Los Angeles with my husband, two kids and two dogs! However,
my heart and soul will always belong to Brooklyn, New York!
