Shirley's Story
Back in IL after 11 years in the PNW and missing my beloved WA dearly.
Graduated with a BA in Media and Communications from University of Washington.
Currently employed at NIU in DeKalb.
Married 20 years (in July '21) to my husband, Tom, a retired professor and coder extraordinaire.
I have three cats - Emily, Pyewacket, and Morticia - and two pitties - Emma and Dolly.
My sons are WAY too old. Ethan will be 33 this year and Michael will be...Expand for more
32 the end of the year.
I'm addicted to "The Mandalorian" and collect everything Grogu/Baby Yoda. Worse than that addiction is the one to "Hamilton." I breathe, eat, and live that musical. I will be attending reopening weekend on Broadway in September!
I own an online boutique called ¡cara mia! boutique. I dabble in a little bit of everything from clothing to antiques and vintage high-end items.
Fun fact: I have over 500 pairs of shoes. :D
