Shirley's Story

I transfered into to WCDS my junior year. After graduation,I moved to Tulsa and attended ORU and majored in Broadcast Design. In 1990, I married Steve Alves, from Eastern Wayne (class of '85) and we enjoyed 24 years in the Air Force. We were stationed in DC, Florida (twice) NM, CA and the UK. We retired out of Hawaii and moved back to NM where we have been for the past 2 years! I have a daugh...Expand for more
ter, who is a Senior at Kansas State University. When I have time off, I enjoy painting and gardening, KSU Football games, a great glass of wine. To unwind we take the t-tops off our '72 Vette and go for a drive. The nice thing about NM is we are close enough to Vegas, Phoenix or Denver and the weather here is really nice 330 days a year. Plus Balloon Fiesta is every October and it Fabulous!!!!
