Shirley's Story
Well life goes by so quicky...doesn't it? I graduated, went on to work at Mellon Bank for 9 years and then after 5 years of marriage to my high school sweetheart chose to raise a family, despite a promising career as a Banking Officer.
I am happy to be blessed with two children, now grown. When our oldest graduated from high school, I too went to college and pursued my dream of becoming a teacher, which after 7 years, I did. I am now a Pennsylvania Certified Elementary Teacher and sub for the City of Pittburgh, of which school system I am a product of.
I have clung to my faith, Christianity, and sing in my church choir and on the Worship Team praises to my Lord and Savior ,Jesus Christ. He is the only hope in my life for the challenges and trials one faces.
I hope to have a productive life ahead of me and perhaps become a grandmother. Can't beli...Expand for more
eve I am saying that!
I am still married (an antique these days). When I look back at photos and yearbooks good memories flood my mind. I feel sad at the loss already of some of my classmates. May they rest in peace.
Hopefully we all will have much to look forward to in the days our good Lord blesses us with. Try not to waste any!

If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have glasses, coffee, and sleep to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to church, then spend the rest on a beach house, children and friends in need.
If I had one do over I would have probably pursued musical theatre and gone to Point Park College to be educated. It is a tough, competitive field, but I would try the challenge.
In 10 years, I hope to be living at the beach. I'm going to get there by a miracle!
