Shirley Ann's Story
Married in 1970, Divorced in 1991 (not by choice). I have 3 children (daughter & 2 sons) and 5 grandchildren( 1 girl, 4 boys). All live in new Mexico where I lived for 31 years (except for 2 1/2 years in Germany 1981 - 1984). I moved to Ohio in 2002 to be with my Mother who lost dad in 1994 and lived in South Carolina and North Carolina until she built her home in Ohio in 2001. Miss my family a lot, but feel the need to stay with mom. She is 83 now and not in the best of health. My oldest Grandchild (Christian) graduates in May and we are going on a Carribean cruise. any of you remember my older brother Martin Douglas, he passed away in 2000. My brother Larry still lives in Fairbanks. I was a Division Secretary for Schwan's for 12 years until 2001 when they closed the office in Albuquerque and moved it to Phoenix. I attended UNM for a number of years until I was divorced and couldn't afford to continue, so have 94 hours and no degree. I now work as a Direct Care personnel with the developmentally disabled. I also work in the office part time taking care of the book work involved with running the 2 homes. It is fun and challenging work.
