Life
Wow, the years have gone by quickly. I find myself wondering how I could possibly be a grandmother already! My son has a wife, and three beautiful little boys. I have twin daughters in college after one got out of the Army and the other served in Iraq as a contractor.
After 3 years, I returned home from Iraq on medical leave for 10 months. I am now back at work in Baghdad and actually love my job and have made some wonderful friends here. I am a Systems Administrator on a special message handling system for the military.

have an incredible family and wonderful friends and I don't think I would do anything different with my life even if I could.
I bought a home in Colorado in which my son and his wife live and also maintain for me while I am in Iraq. I plan to go back home to be a live in grandma after I leave Baghdad. I'm also writing a book about my experiences in Iraq, which I hope to eventually get published.
I hope to hear from any of you who might remember...
Time has passed quickly and so much has changed, but I think I have found myself and I am at peace with who I have become.
