Shirley's Story
After graduating from Vacaville High in '74, I attended UC Davis and earned a degree in Political Science and my Juris Doctor degree from King Hall. After becoming a member of the California Bar, I worked on civil rights cases and served as a staff attorney and later Vice President of Student Services at a Native American college. I have taught federal Indian law and helped set up educational programs on various reservations.

ucational administration at Solano Community College. I am the student government advisor, I teach a student leadership course, and direct the Student Development office.
I am a single mom with a 14 year old daughter -- I moved back to Vacaville about 10 years ago after living in the Davis area for over 20 years.
I enjoy working with college students and helping them be successful.
