Robert's Story
Hi Hunters! After graduating CPHS, I had no clue what I wanted to do or where to go. I attended CSUN taking a variety of classes to see what I liked. I took the advice of Mark Ch'ilcott ('76) and took a Computer class. From there I decided to pursue it as a major and transferred to UC San Diego. After getting my Bachelor's I worked on real-time flight training systems (think Top Gun) in San Diego, and was able to travel to various places to install these systems. Pepperdine, moving back to the LA area. We bought a house near Taft H.S., as I started working for a computer company in the area. Eventually, a internet start-up moved us up to the S.F. Bay Area where we reside today, and where I have worked for a number of high-tech companies that allowed me to travel the world. I have two great kids that keep me active and feeling young. Unfortunately, as time went by, I lost contact with many Hunters, but am through the magic of social media, trying to reconnect.
