Shirley's Story

I currently live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I got married in 1977 and that marriage ended in my husband's death. I have two children. My son,Lee, from my marriage, is 34 years old and my daughter, Erin is 23 years old. I have one grandchild (son), Me'Kai who is 2 years old and is my heart. I have a wonderful soulmate, Michael, who is Erin's father. I am currently employed by the United States Dept. of HUD as an Equal Opportunity Specialist/Investigator (30 years). I am a retired Sergeant First Class (29 y...Expand for more
ears ) of the Army Reserves (377th TSC). I currently have a bachelors degree in business administration and is trying to return to college to complete my masters degree in business management. I am also very proud to say that I am a 27 year survivor of breast cancer. I keep myself busy exercising and staying fit. My social life also keeps me busy. I love the festivals in and around the city of New Orleans. I have ventured my festival going outside the state. I also love vacationing with my family.
