Shirley's Story
Life
It has been along time since the good ole day's at M.U.H.S. The October after graduation I married Dean Fetterman. Dean, joined and remained in the Navy for twenty year's. So we traveled all over the country and overseas. It was a great life which we both enjoyed. Along the way we had two son's. Our oldest son Eric, who is 40 lives in Port Towsend W.A. with his wife, Becky, they have a son and two daughter's. Our youngest son, Curt who is 38 live with his wife Virginia, and their daughter, Victoria, in Las Vegas. When Dean, retired from the Navy he went to work for Civil Service and just retired from that last July 1st'with 22 years service. s a teacher's aide for six years. I worked with 4 year old's which I dearly loved. They are so sweet but like puppies they grow up!!! We have just ordered a new pickup to go with our 30' fith wheel so we are going to go see the countryside up close and personal. Dean, and I have lived in Oak Harbor, W.A. for twenty year's now. We are about 90 miles north of Seattle and about 60 miles south of Canada. The Island we live on is surrounded by a body of water called The Puget Sound. North of us are the San Juan Islands. It is beautiful truely God's country, guess you can tell we love it here, this is home. Hey anybody that reads this from the class of 60 let me hear from you.
