Shirlyn's Story
I have lived in Jacksonville, FL for almost 7 years with my husband, Robert. Our son Aaron lives in Jacksonville also in a lovely condo on the St. Johns River. Our daughter Tara lives with her husband Rick and baby daughter Isabel in Melbourne, FL. They are expecting our new grandson at the end of May. Yes, I'm a Grandmother now and love every single minute of it! I'm known to the grandkids as 'Mimi'. I never had a nickname in HS (that I know of!), but now have one that means 'Grandma'.
I consider myself to be 'retired', but am looking at some new business ventures to invest in. I've worked over the years in executive sales, fashion and cosmetics and interior design. (I'm ASID certified).

tion, so I am now an ace at party planning for large groups! Robert is currently VP & General Manager of a manufacturing facility in downtown Jax.
I do get back to Pittsburgh several times a year (we both have family there), and Pittsburgh will ALWAYS be home to us. Robert says that he would move back in a minute if he could. Can you tell that we miss it? We were never more proud than this past weekend when our own Steelers won Super Bowl #6 and the city became known as Sixburgh! Our Super Bowl party at our home brought over 55 people to cheer the Steelers on to victory. I told you that I am a great party planner!!
