42 years in Information Technology; retired - Retirement suits me perfectly, thank you very much.

Life:
Married, one son, two granddaughters; one finishing her senior year of college and the other a freshman. I have traveled all over these United States and around the world and have developed a major hate for airports, so now when I travel it is all about taking the back roads just to see where they might lead, turning off the GPS and getting as lost as possible. I am a Stage 4 Cancer Survivor and there are too many things to see and places to go right around here in the Lower-48, so I think I will hang around a while longer and check 'em out.;

Military:
USAF 1962-1966 shortly after graduating high school which became my introduction into Data Processing that over the years became Information Systems and then Information Technology - DP IS IT, and it was for 42 years.
Hobby:
Street Rods - tanning my left elbow, looking cool, still cruising and showing off at 73+. Remember that totally cool lowered Maroon '51 Mercury and later dark blue-green almost black '52 Cadillac Coupe de Ville I had in high school? I have built a slammed-sled custom '50 Mercury that's a blast and a half to drive and gets all kinds of attention along with a '51 Chevy 3100 half-ton pickup truck I still use as an honest to goodness truck now and then and the rest of the time just hang onto the steering wheel because it's a real handful to drive --see my photos.
