Life
I wen't into the U.S.ARMY in sep,1966, basice at fort knox,ky. and then went to fort gorden , ga. for radio school and after that i went to fort benny, ga , for airborne training. in mid-67 i wen't to vietnam.gungle school in sigone,out side of it as part of the 101 airborn biv. i spent the rest of year in the 173 dr. airborn div. i work out of fire suport bases and specal forces bases. i was in bong-song, onkay,toeywaw and to manny others to remember. i remember a thankgiving day that my main base and oure fire suport base was badly dam...Expand for more
age by nva reglars, i watch a hell of a fight that lasted for days, i was told latter that it was hill 875., i was siting on part of the hochey- men trail,7 miles frome the borter to my west. when i left that country i did feal like partteying like some guyes. i was luckey to go home a chaned person but not a beation one, i never let it control my life. i have frinds that live it every day, i wish thay could shute it off also. sid
