Life
Hi friends! Okay, time to post a bio. I am still married to love of my life since 9th grade, Deano Johnson (class of '74). We still live at the old Strawberry Hill Plantation house outside Madison. I own Grandeur Manor Arabians, Grandeur Equestrian and Grandeur Restorations, my La Crosse place The A.C. Carter House, and I also recently returned to an old love as an artist manager and promoter for rock bands, currently working with the supergroup The Kings (let me know if you need a big name band at your events.) Deano own the Johnson-Phoenix Group L.L.C. a group of construction related companies.
No, tragically, we don't have any children, and not for lack of trying, but, I have the world's cutest Shar Pei. He goes everywhere with me, including a shopping trip on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills summer of 2005. We have loads of horses, sheep, and cats outdoor mostly, don't want to become the classic childless catlady.)
Lost my Dad in 2001, taking care of Mom, who beat cancer at age 83!

UPDATE 2007: Well, this summers been busy, we built a new arena building at our horse farm, and Deano's biz has been booming, but he found time to restore "Cinnamon Girl" for me. She is an outrageous vintage speedboat, that matches my outrageous vintage Jaguar. Of course, now that's she's ready to go, the Jag has "kitty issues", but you who know me well know there is nothing I like better than a little grease under my fingernails. As soon as the new garage area is done, we plan to work on that, and HOPEFULLY, finish the Pantera before next summer.

because some musicians, by nature, are just plain unmanageable. As I recently told a classmate (hi Fred!), it took twenty years to forget why I quit the first time, but only about two years to remember. Still going to the shows though.
UPDATE 2008: Well the Pantera will have to wait, Mom had a serious heart attack with horrific complications last fall and ended up as a hospice patient, she is doing a little better thank God, but I have been caring for her round the clock since Nov.. This years goal: get her out of hospice status, and back on her feet. Those of you that know her, know that is a realistic goal. Remember, she was a phy ed teacher. I am in Madison most of the time now, miss my horses BIG TIME, but, I got my old ten speed out of the garage, and you know, it's true, you never forget how to ride a bike. So, if your driving around the west side, watch out for the old redhead bombing around on the yellow Schwinn okay.
Update 2009: Well, accomplished one 2008 goal, got Mom out of hospice status, she just celebrated B-day #86, wow, but she can't live alone, and she doesn't want to give up her house, so I am in Madison most of the time. We are renovating the guest house to be handicap accessible for mom this spring, so we can spend more time at our home, and I can reopen my business at least part time. Lord I miss my farm, can't wait to spend more time there.
Made a video of "Zamaclona's Big Reunion" sent it to Zamacona, with "Zamaclona". I think he will be afraid, very afraid, to miss another class reunion.
