EVERYONE HAS A STORY.... So here I sit in the wonderful town of Chico, CA. I have lived here since leaving Lake Tahoe after HS. I attended the university here studying both Marketing and Psychology. After college I worked in a bank and for a food service company. Neither kept my interest, so I quit both after almost 2 years each and started traveling. Since '95, I have been to 26 countries between C. America/S. America/and Europe. I've wandered Europe 6 times for various adventures. The shortest trip was 3 weeks and longest 3 months. My best travel so far was my pilgrimage in '05 on the Camino de Santiago in which I walked almost 600 miles in 28 days with just my small backpack. All of my travel have been by budget/backpack. If you ever watch The Amazing Race, that is pretty much me everywhere I go. I've been blessed with great experiences, at incredible places, with the most beautiful people one could ever cross paths. I've also had adventures in Hawai'i several times, backpacked in the Grand Canyon, mtn. biked in Moab and hiked all over the west. The summer of '08 I volunteered at a turtle project in Costa Rica and traveled into Panama. In '98 I spent a month in Belfast, N. Ireland volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. You see, I get a mix of everything in my travels. Of all this my favorite country is Ireland, but Croatia is a close second! This past summer: Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Hertzegovina, and Hungary.
