Life I joined the USAF shortly after graduation and got stationed overseas in England (at RAF Bentwaters) for two years. Then I was transferred to Holloman AFB, New Mexico and arrived there in May, 1982. I got married in May, 1983 and got orders to go back to RAF Bentwaters. I arrived back at RAF Bentwares in January, 1984. I got divorced in October, 1985 and eventually, I was transferred back to Holloman AFB, NM in January, 1988. I got a part time civilian job as a Radio Announcer later that year and worked at it for several months. I finally got out of the Air Force in Novemeber, 1990 and moved to Naples, FL where I was offered a job as a restaurant manager. That didn't last long because I eventually found out that it was a front for laundering drug money. I headed back to New Mexico in December, 1990 and looked for work. None was available, so on a whim, I decided to head west and ended up in the San Francisco Bay Area in February, 1991.
