My book 'Surfer Girl' was the winner of best teen book at both the 2008 New York Book Festival and the 2008 Hollywood Book Festival and is recognized by the Girls Voices In Literature Databas, Miami University, Florida. My youngest daughter is 19 now, and she went to the USA Olympic Open Water 10K swim trials and is a world class swimmer. My middle daughter has a masters' degree in Educational Technology and a BA in math and one child, and my eldest daughter has four children and a degree in Early Childhood developement.
