Sissy's Story
Sissy Goff, MED, LPC-MHSP, has worked as the director of child and adolescent counseling and the director of summer programs at Daystar since 1993. Sissy received her masters degree in human development counseling from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the American Association of Certified Counselors and is a licensed professional counselor-mental health service provider. and in Canada. She is a popular parenting speaker on raising girls, parenting, teens, and speaks to girls on a variety of topics. She and Melissa Trevathan coauthored The Back Door to Your Teen's Heart, published by Harvest House Publishers in 2002, Raising Girls published by Zondervan in 2007 and have two upcoming releases: Mirrors and Maps for 11-14 year-old girls and Growing Up Without Getting Lost set to be released by Youth Specialties/Zondervan in 2008.
