Skip's Story

My wife Kathy and I have been married for over 46 years, living in Virginia since 1984, now in Front Royal (Shenandoah Valley). We have raised 2 daughters (Shawna and Lisa) and have 4 grandchildren (Matthew, Hunter, Cody, and Annabelle). I am an Army veteran (Military Police-Canine) serving between 1968-1974 and graduated from San Jose State in 1973 with a BA in Behavioral Science. Kathy and I have been very active in our Church (Church of the Nativity Catholic Church) for over 30 years. active in the disabled veteran community for over 15 years. I am founder of Able Forces Foundation a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a Mission to provide immediate financial support to military and veteran families in crisis. We live in the small historic town of Front Royal in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I rarely get back to California but Kathy and I are looking forward to God-willing coming out for the upcoming 55th reunion picnic.
