Dan is a 1966 graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, and a 1970 graduate of the University of Alabama. As an Air Force ROTC cadet he received his commission as a 2nd lieutenant and went on active duty...he served all over the world, including Southeast Asia , in various logistics staff / command positions.He received his MBA from University of Nebraska in 1976 and was assigned to the Pentagon as a Air Staff Training officer.....he is a graduate of the Air University schools ( Air Command and Staff College and Air War College ) .
