Eric's Story
Upon graduating from Peoria (I was the sole member of the Class of 88 and a half), I enlisted in the Navy. I was stationed in Chicago, New Jersey, San Diego, and Philadelphia. I had the opportunity to visit Alaska, Canada, South America, the Carribean, and the East Coast.
After being honorably discharged, I went to school at GCC, Phoenix College, ASU, but finally received my degree from NAU in Education.
I tried to gain employment in the Peoria Unified School District, but landed at Thunderbird High School where I have been teaching English and Social Studies. In 2002 I earned my Master'...Expand for more
s Degree, but I am still on the fence whether or not I should be an administrator.
In 1999, I married my college sweetheart Danielle -she is a teacher at Camelback High School - then last year we had a baby girl named Emma Isabella.
I am proud to be an Arizonan and Peoria Grad, but I don't like all of the development and Californians who have invaded our state.
Oh yeah, I also love beer. I love making it, drinking it, and reading about it. In fact, it is a dream of mine to own a microbrewery.
I also work part time at REI and own a music management company called Chipweed Music Management.
