Life Hmmm... Life is great. We are free from the military! yeah! And back home in Texas. My 3 kids keep growing, and changing right before my eyes. I'm trying to reconnect to some old acquantances/ friends, and make some new ones. :) School I don't remeber much about school other than band. Band was the one place where I was myself, and let my guard down. The rest of the time I guess I just kinda kept my head down and faded into the senery. If I could go back and change something it'd be to be more open and friendly, I was too afraid of making enemies to make too many friends. I was too shy. I don't think very many classmates knew me, because I kept to myself. But I can't go back, so I just focus on making better decisions today. College I loved college. My Bible Study group was wonderful. They were the best friends I'd always wanted. Tim introduced me to "They might be Giants," and JACKIE CHAN! College is where I started my "game nights" spades/hearts with Sarah, Jim, Bethany, Nate. OO7 on NES with Shannon, Matt, and Ted?(That's horrible I can't remember if that was his name or not, hmm... ) I really sucked at that game, so I'd always go for the grenade launcher, because if I just aimed in the right direction then I could get them. I think I got killed 15 times for every 1 time I hit somebody, but I was so exc...Expand for more
ited that one time it made up for it. :) ACU was the first place I really felt like I fit in. I don't regret dropping out to get married to Ben (military has moved us around alot), but I do regret not keeping in better touch with my group. If I'd stayed in I deffinatley would have switched majors. Art class was my favorite. And I'll never forget dressing up in formal clothes to go play volley ball at Sonic. Or 8 of us cramming into Matt's two- door sports car and putting Nate in the trunk to go around the block. Or the goofy email poems/rhymes Sarah Jim and I sent back and forth. And I still think my cousin and I should have gotten up enought nerve to put a ton of jello powder into the fountain one night. Ahh well. Now we'll never know if it would really have turned into Jello or not. Workplace Hmmm... Well, I did some DQ time, a couple of other small part time jobs, and then I switched to Herff Jones School Photography for 2 years, that was a lot of fun. Then I started having children. Most recently I was a librarian during Orion's pregnancy so that I'd get a break from the other two kids from 5pm-9pm, that was a lot of fun. But my main job has been raising the kids. I'm currently homeschooling Kaitlyn, but that's not really work. It's fun. Military I'm a "navy wife" so he's the one with the story to share. :)
