Sonja's Story
Life
It has been a couple of tough years for me as my dad died of Alheimer's, then my mom developed renal failure and almost died in the hospital in 2006. She is now living with me.
My biggest news is that I got married in June! Those who know me very well know that that was a huge step for me. Most people figured that I would never get married. Neither did I! But the right man finally came around and we are very happily married!
My husband and I are members of the Coronado Company of the Arizona Rangers, a volunteer law enforcement assistance agency. We are also on the Greenlee County Sher...Expand for more
iff's Dept volunteer Posse. We have a special assignment called the River Campground Patrol, where we patrol the campgrounds along the San Francisco and Gila Rivers in Greenlee County. I also work as a security officer in Safford, Graham County, where we live.
I have my own business, First Link Safety Training, and teach a variety of safety related classes. I wasn't able to work for several months while taking care of mom, but have finally been able to get things rolling again. I am a state certified Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter.
